Biography
Shruti Banerjee is an Indian vocalist. She attended Ali Akbar College in Basel and performed an Indian Classical Concert as a Vocalist in Gandharva Veda Centre, Switzerland. She is based in Zürich and has over 15years of experience working as an exponential Artist (Vocalist and Potter) in different organizations.
She is the daughter of Pt. Ardhendu Sekhar Bandyopadhyay (Indian Classical Vocalist) and a disciple of Prof. Ken Zuckerman (Basel). Currently, She is attached with some Meditation Centre, where she performs her art skills and personally also teaches Music online (Zoom / Google Meet / Skype/ Whatsapp).
Having been born and brought up in an atmosphere surcharged with high-caliber music round the clock, Shruti has taken to music as a swan takes to water. Her progress has been enormously astonishing and she has reached a high level of proficiency through her creation.
She is a very good music composer, lyricist, and potter.
She has performed in many prominent music festivals and places in India and abroad. She is also a part of various collaborations. She currently teaches in SurSwarang Organisation (Zürich, Switzerland) as a Vocalist and was faculty at Swaranjali Organisation (Delhi, India) for 5 years.
Academically, she has completed her Visharad in Rabindra Sangeet & Hindustani Classical Music Degrees under Pracheen Kala Kendra & Lucknow University and also is a qualified Digital Media Manager.
